Lestari
The Lestari is the Enfoe dynasty ship, captained by Uzoma Enfoe, that carries Finn and Ellie on the salvage run for the ZPZ generator — the acquisition that makes the Diligent a strategic problem rather than a refugee hull.
The Terrik Papuan run
The generator trade arranged by Gyvoy Enfoe puts the Lestari at the centre of the book’s most contested salvage. At Terrik Papuan the Arcadia’s Moon tails her carrying Finn and Ellie; fire is exchanged, and ghost fleets assault the salvage. What was planned as a procurement job becomes a multi-year expedition under relativistic lag.
The Enfoe name on the hull is worth noting. The same commercial dynasty supplies the identity that Gyvoy Enfoe’s operator wears, and charters the Ilum elsewhere in the plot — the family’s ships and its reputation are the infrastructure the imposture runs on.
Enfoe commerce as cover
Traveler and Traveler-adjacent commerce is how technology actually moves in the Centauri Cluster: not through dominion fleets but through family hulls taking charters. The Lestari is the clearest example of a ship whose ordinary commercial function carries decisive strategic weight — one successful delivery and the human liberation project has an Archimedes Engine within reach.
