Aeacus

The Aeacus is the ship Neusch lends Terence Wilson-Fletcher in the closing movement of Exodus: The Archimedes Engine. It is the material half of the support a purged archon household gives a Gondiar detective who is carrying an archon’s aspect and has no standing of his own.
A hull for a human investigator
Neusch is a son of Makaio-Faraji who receives neural gifts before the archon dies. When the Makaio-Spirit activates inside Terence, Neusch becomes the living continuation of his father’s work — inheriting the contacts without the rank, inside a court that has already purged the Makaio line.
Lending the Aeacus is one of three things he does with that inheritance: he gives Terence the ship, shares information with Clavissa, and carries residual requests to dig into Bekket-network crimes. The loan matters because of what Terence has become. A police detective on Gondiar cannot follow a Celestial conspiracy off his own world; a detective with a hull can.
Celestial support for the manhunt
The Aeacus belongs to the same late turn as the warnings that reach Olomo and Sahdiah about the Gyvoy Enfoe imposture. The manhunt that finds Gyvoy’s body as a discarded shell runs on Celestial resources handed to a human, and this hull is the clearest instance of that transfer: a Wynid household ship in the hands of an investigator the Crown never authorized.
