Olomo

Olomo is Archon of the Heresy Dominion — a towering, six-limbed Celestial intelligence player whose brief runs parallel to Crown archons but answers to a different dominion. He is the figure who first flags Dolod’s approach to Kelowan, keeps a long Helium Sea watch in Tinaja, and burns hard for the Diligent when the Archimedes Engine crisis detonates.

Heresy archon and Dolod’s first warning

Decades before Carolien’s coronation (~40 years before the throne handoff), Olomo informs Makaio-Yalbo of Wynid that Dolod is headed for Kelowan. The meeting is rare enough that Makaio accepts without question: archon-to-archon contact across dominion lines is a heavy time investment through the Gates of Heaven.

Heresy physiology and ships underline cultural distance from Crown norms — Olomo’s people favour extreme height and multi-limb biotech strength; his starship outscales Crown counterparts such as the Alumata. He is not a Crown subject but a Great Game peer whose interests sometimes align with Wynid caution against surprise astrophysical or political shocks.

Tinaja, Karaglo, and the Helium Sea

Later Olomo orbits gas giant Lonizi in the Tinaja system and meets Karaglo on the Mil’laury — the astrophysicist studying the Helium Sea who first measured Dolod’s trajectory. Karaglo’s findings escalate: he reports a helium macroplanet brought to nova by a strangelet, what may be the remains of a planetary core, and unknown ships crossing the HeSea from an uninhabited red dwarf binary. Olomo leaves Karaglo on watch while he reports to Heresy superiors and Crown allies — the same Tinaja theatre that later funds and confuses Human Liberation trails Terence investigates.

Kelowan endgame: Gyvoy warning and Diligent pursuit

During imperial naval exercises Olomo spies aboard the Xirya in the Kelowan system when he receives Terence / Makaio-Spirit’s warning about Gyvoy Enfoe imposture. He sets course to intercept the Diligent. As anchor ships leave Dolod for Boksrock he accelerates hard; Sahdiah — racing the same board after Medusa’s message — calls him, and the two archons trade name-calling and accusations before realizing neither is the Engine’s author.

Together they track the Diligent’s high-gee escape toward Capo Frois while Helena-Thyra dispatches Asahi-Iryna after both the arkship and the foreign archons. Olomo’s arc is the outsider intelligence power: first to name Dolod as a strategic object, last among the high players still trying to understand who actually stole planetary momentum — and what that means for dominion balance beyond the Crown.
