Boksrock
Stub: expand when more is known. This article records only what the novel’s endgame establishes about Boksrock itself.
Boksrock is the body that the Archimedes Engine on Dolod is turned against in the closing movement of Exodus: The Archimedes Engine. When Finn Jalgori-Tobu takes the Engine’s command interface, the momentum transfers he orders are redirected toward Boksrock instead of a simple plan to deny Kelowan the use of Dolod — and the path Boksrock is put on becomes the crisis that unravels Dominion order.
The redirected transfer
Gyvoy Enfoe steers Finn toward using the Engine against Kelowan’s interest, framing it as liberation. What Finn actually issues goes past that brief: Engine commands redirect momentum transfers toward Boksrock, and anchor ships launch and begin caging geometries that surprise even the hardline fleets massed at the capital. Boksrock’s resulting path toward Kelowan is an existential threat layered on top of the palace sabotage already under way, and Empress Carolien-Amaia’s position collapses under it.
A second transfer couples through an anchor ship and the Diligent’s ZPZ field, which is what lets the arkship accelerate away from capture.
Unresolved authorship
Whether Helena-Thyra plans the final Boksrock geometry in advance, or merely exploits it once it is under way, stays ambiguous. She brings fleets to Kelowan early, wants narrative control of the “human rebel” story, issues kill orders when the Diligent flees, and benefits from Carolien’s fall — yet the geometry may exceed any single court’s script.
