Toše

Toše is the mercenary who does the loud half of the work Liliana does quietly. He salvages alongside the Diligent’s crew, bombs an orbital capsule over Gondiar, snipes a Celestial archon on the Governor’s lawn, and destroys the ghost units sent to arrest the Jalgori-Tobus — all of it, on the surface, in service of human liberation, and all of it downstream of the Gyvoy Enfoe network.

Terrik Papuan and the ZPZ run

Toše is embedded with the arkship’s people before he is a suspect. He is on the salvage at Terrik Papuan with Finn and Ellie when Andino and Marcellu’s Traveler crews attack, fighting to bring home the ZPZ generator that Gyvoy’s trade arranged. His later work looks freelance, but the mercenary layer around Gyvoy is inside the liberation project from the technical breakthrough onward.

The Gondiar bombing

During General Avone-Valerio’s navy lockdown of Gondiar, Toše slips Terence’s surveillance and plants a bomb in an orbital capsule, killing hundreds — among them Lucia, Terence’s right-hand. Liliana boards the Cybele’s Eagle under disguise in the same operation. The attack is the point where the detective thread turns personal, and where the Gyvoy network stops looking like commerce and starts looking like a campaign.

Medusa, trading information from custody, gives Terence the thread that leads back: Toše’s contact with the captain of the Gansvoort. That link ties the bombings, the Cybele’s Eagle, and the archon assassination into one network rather than three unrelated crimes.

Killing Makaio-Faraji — and what it costs him

Toše’s most consequential act is a sniper shot at the Governor’s mansion that kills Makaio-Faraji, the Celestial archon who has been running Terence as a human instrument. It backfires completely. Dying, Makaio neurally transfers an aspect of himself into Terence — the Makaio-Spirit — which activates archon protocols with Neusch and turns a Gondiar police detective into a manhunter with Celestial-grade reach.

That hybrid is what finds Gyvoy’s body as a discarded shell and pushes the imposture warning out to Olomo, Sahdiah, and the archon board, sending them toward Dolod. Toše kills the one Celestial who might have been managed, and creates the investigator who exposes the network he works for.

Guarding Josias

With Liliana, Toše tracks Josias Aponi into hiding with a lover, the pair claiming Gyvoy sent them as guardians — protection that is also custody. Josias issues his mass strike broadcast under their watch. When warrants follow and ghost units move on the Jalgori-Tobus, Toše destroys the units as they arrive; the retaliatory airstrikes kill the Marchioness and Everett’s wife Variaka. The trio then escapes aboard Andino’s Arcadia’s Moon, flying under the false identity Infinite Totality.

The pattern holds across every appearance: Toše is effective, and his effectiveness always advances the Gyvoy network’s position while appearing to serve whoever he is standing next to. Court-side, his name attaches to the human-linked operators whose violence contributes to Carolien-Amaia’s collapse — the mercenary layer reaching all the way up to an Empress.
